My first meal in Berlin at a place called Faustus. Luckily, I didn't have to sell my soul to get food. I didn't know any German and Anita wasn't around so I ordered an omelet, since it's the same word in German I guess!
I then went to a bunch of local shops, including one where you can buy clothes by the kilo. I got this awesome fur coat for 9 euro!
Then I met up with Anita and her friend Sam. Anita's student housing in Berlin is amazing. They have an amazing place, their own bedrooms, kitchens, balconies...
That night we went out to a German rockabilly bar called White Trash. Apparently, you can get a free tattoo if you incorporate the name of the bar into it (don't worry--I didn't)!
